What we collect

When you request a demo, Craftlane receives your business name, your name and email, and anything you choose to add in the optional website and notes fields. We also process limited technical and security information needed to prevent spam, enforce request limits, and preserve an audit record. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identification, or confidential account credentials.

How we use it

We use request information to respond about the demo you requested, research the public details of your business, prepare and deliver the service, prevent abuse, and maintain necessary business records. We do not sell your information, and a demo request does not enroll you in an unrelated mailing list.

Who processes it

Cloudflare provides website hosting, form protection, request-rate controls, and request storage. If you decide to buy, Shopify processes checkout and payment-card information. Craftlane receives the contact, order, and payment-status information needed to complete the work, but does not receive or store your full card number through the demo form.

Data handling and service scope

References to spam prevention, HTTPS or account access describe safeguards used to operate our service. Craftlane does not sell cybersecurity services. No website or storage system is guaranteed to be free from unauthorized access or data loss.

How long we keep it

Craftlane’s V1 policy is to delete the personal details in a demo request 14 days after submission. After Craftlane has actually contacted a business, it keeps only a minimal one-way identity fingerprint and the contact date permanently so the business is not approached again as a new prospect. That record does not authorize contact and is separate from records required for customers, payments, security, taxes, disputes, or legal obligations. Cleanup of imported records, original submissions, and replay protection has been implemented and tested with fictional data, including a hosted Cloudflare migration and fictional expired-record redaction. Production cleanup for real submissions remains locked until final supervised approval is complete.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted, subject to security, fraud-prevention, recordkeeping, and legal obligations. You may also tell us to stop contacting you at any time; that request is added to our suppression list so future outreach stays blocked.
